Indian Gooseberry which falls in the Phyllanthaceae family is considered great in Ayurveda and has lot of medicinal value. People should understand the benefits of the Indian Gooseberry and must include it in the diet.

Indian Gooseberry is considered great in Ayurveda and has lot of medicinal value. Gooseberry falls in the Phyllanthaceae family and can grow in most part of the world despite the climatic conditions of the region.
The Indian Gooseberry tastes sour when eaten in raw and it will taste sweet when you immediately drink water after eating it. Gooseberries grow in variety according to the climatic conditions and region where it is growing. Some of the varieties are Old Rough Red, Hairy Amber and prickly berry.
